Essay and General Lit Index Retro provides citations to thousands of essays from the United States, Great Britain, and Canada. The index covers works published between 1900-1984.

September 2008 Tip of the Month

In order for your students to do their best work it is important for them to be familiar with, and know how to use, the resources available to them. Instructional Services offers library instruction sessions designed around your students' class assignments. Subject-specific sessions are designed to help them locate and evaluate relevant resources. Librarians will help your students develop the information-seeking skills necessary for their academic success. Please schedule your class at least two weeks in advance.

September 15 Through October 31, 2008

Cardinals Through the Decades: 90 Years of Ball State University will be on display on the second floor of Bracken Library through October 31, 2008. Explore the history and memories of Ball State from 1918-2008. The display includes photographs of the dedication of Beneficence in 1937, a glass time capsule from Burris, 75th anniversary memorabilia, miniature B-Books, a 1940's wooden scrapbook from Lucina Hall, Orient yearbooks, and other historical documents.
