Abstracts in Anthropology Has Been Added to the Databases Page

This database provides electronic access to the print titles indexed in Abstracts in Anthropology. Citations and abstracts are provided from hundreds of journal titles. This database covers a broad spectrum of significant, current anthropological topics.

Name Change for The Knight Ridder Collection


The Knight Ridder Collection is now called the McClatchy-Tribune Collection.

Free Trial for GeoScienceWorld

GeoScienceWorld is a comprehensive Internet resource for research and communications in the geosciences. It is built on a core database aggregation of peer-reviewed journals. GeoScienceWorld is available from the Databases page. The trial ends September 21st.


Free Trial for FSTA Direct

FSTA Direct (Food Science and Technology Abstracts) is a searchable collection of abstracts prepared from the world's food science, food technology, and food-related human nutrition literature. Abstracts of articles are prepared by specialist scientists. This database is designed to help food professionals keep up to date with new developments and research. FSTA Direct is available from the Databases page. The trial ends October 2nd.

Coming to Ball State: Freshman Life 101

The Archives and Special Collection Research Center presents an exhibit recognizing the arrival of Ball State’s 88th freshman class. On display will be materials from the University Archives collections—photographs, yearbooks, Cardinal Code freshmen handbooks, Ball State catalogs, and other items—that reveal freshman life on campus from 1919 to the present.
