PILOTS Has Been Added to the Databases Page

PILOTS indexes literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health consequences of exposure to traumatic events. The goal of the PILOTS database is to include citations to all literature on PTSD and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations, and to offer both current and
retrospective coverage. PILOTS database is not limited to literature on PTSD among veterans and is produced by the National Center for PTSD.

Free Trial for Human Relations Area Files: Archaeology

Human Relations Area Files: Archaeology contains 60,000 archaeological documents (books, journal articles, and dissertations) describing all aspects of prehistoric traditions. This cross-cultural database allows users to do keyword and subject search of all documents in the database. Human Relations Area Files: Archaeology is available from the Databases page. The trial ends May 31st.

Human Relations Area Files: Ethnography is a cross-cultural database that contains over 350,000 pages of information on all aspects of cultural and social life. It contains ethnographic and other documents describing cultural and social life (books, journal articles, and dissertations)that are compiled into culture profiles. Human Relations Area Files: Ethnography is available from the Databases page. The trial ends May 31st.

April 2007 Tip of the Month

If you need information on finding IRS publications and forms you might see our How to Find Tax Forms Online research guide. The guide will show you where to find both state and federal tax publications. Although the library has some Indiana tax forms this may be a convenient way for you find the forms you need. The guide is linked under Research Guides on the
University Libraries' home page.

Through June 29th

A new Archives and Special Collections exhibit, Doc Bowen: From Indiana to Washington, will be on display on the 2nd floor of Bracken Library through June 29. The exhibit will include photographs, documents, and political memorabilia from the recently acquired Dr. Otis R. Bowen Papers.
