Free Trial for Project Euclid

Project Euclid is a non-profit initiative of the Cornell University Library which provides full text access to journals in theoretical and applied mathematics and statistics. The project was launched in 2003 to advance affordable scholarly communication. Project Euclid is available from the Databases page. The trial ends June 15th.

June 2007 Tip of the Month


ReferenceUSA
is a useful resource for residential and business phone numbers and may serve as an alternative to Web sites such as AnyWho.com. Reference USA provides phone listings for 210 million U.S. residents and 14 million businesses. It allows you to search for companies by location, industry, number of employees, sales volume, and many other criteria. The database not only provides directory information for companies but other valuable information, such as contact names, SIC codes, and much more. ReferenceUSA is available from the Ball State University Libraries Databases page which makes more than 150 databases available to Ball State faculty, staff, and students.

Doc Bowen: From Indiana to Washington, will be on display on the 2nd floor of Bracken Library through June 29. The exhibit will include photographs, documents, and political memorabilia from the recently acquired Dr. Otis R. Bowen Papers.
