March 18, 2008 Through April 30, 2008

Archetype: The Social Revolution of Writing will be on exhibit in the Alexander M. Bracken Library from March 18 through April 30, 2008. The exhibition chronicles the history and development of written and printed communication. Rare items for Archives and Special Collections along with contemporary work by students from Ball State’s Department of Art will be on display on the second floor outside Archives and Special Collections and on the first floor of Bracken Library. The exhibit was prepared by students in junior-level visual communication classes under the direction of Dr. Christine Satory, Associate Professor of Art, Visual Communications. An opening reception for the Archetype: The Social Revolution of Writing exhibit will be held on March 18 at 6:30 p.m. on the first floor of Bracken Library. The Friends of the Alexander M. Bracken Library will sponsor a program following the opening at 7:30 p.m. in Bracken Library’s Forum Room (BL 225) by Dr. Christine Satory and Philip Deloria, Archivist for Digital Projects and University Records. The opening and the Library Friends program are free and open to the public. For more information, contact John B.
